Isaiah 14: The Fall of Babylon's King
God promises compassion and restoration for Israel, who then sing a taunt over the fallen king of Babylon, a proud ruler who aimed to rise above God but is brought down to the grave. The Lord also swears to break Assyria and warns the Philistines, while Zion remains a refuge for His people.
