Isaiah 28: Woe to Ephraim and the Tested Cornerstone
Isaiah condemns the proud, drunken leaders of Ephraim and reeling priests and prophets, warning that God will speak through foreign invaders to those who refused rest. Against the scoffing rulers’ pact with death God lays a tested cornerstone in Zion, and a farming parable shows His judgment is wise and measured.
