Isaiah 29: Woe to Ariel and Hollow Worship
God announces that He will besiege Jerusalem, called Ariel, yet the nations attacking it will vanish like a dream. He exposes a blind people whose worship is only outward, undoes their wise men and secret plans, and promises a day when the deaf hear, the humble rejoice, and Jacob’s shame ends.
