Isaiah 45: Cyrus Anointed and Salvation for All Nations
The LORD commissions the Persian king Cyrus, who does not know Him, to conquer nations and free Israel's exiles for His people's sake. He claims rule over light, darkness, prosperity and disaster, rebukes those who question their Maker, and invites the whole earth to turn to Him, swearing that all will bow.
