Jeremiah 29: Jeremiah’s Letter to the Exiles
Jeremiah writes to the exiles in Babylon, telling them to settle down, raise families and pray for the city’s welfare, since God will bring them home only after seventy years. He promises they will find God when they seek Him wholeheartedly and condemns lying prophets in Babylon, among them Shemaiah.
