Ezekiel 28: The Fall of Tyre’s Proud King
God condemns the ruler of Tyre, whose wealth and cleverness led him to think himself divine, and promises a violent end to show he is only mortal. A lament pictures the king as a splendid figure in Eden cast down for pride and dishonest trade, then Sidon is judged and Israel is promised a safe return home.
