Psalms 82: God's Verdict on the Unjust Gods

God presides over an assembly of those called gods, judging them for favoring the wicked and neglecting the weak, the orphan, and the needy. Though given exalted titles, they will die like mortals, and the psalm ends by asking God Himself to judge all the nations.
