Isaiah 41: God Upholds His Chosen Servant Israel
The LORD calls the nations to court and claims He raised up a conqueror from the east, while terrified idol makers prop up their gods. He assures Israel, His chosen servant and Abraham's offspring, of His help, promises water in the desert, and challenges the idols to foretell the future, declaring them worthless.
