Isaiah 42: The Gentle Servant and Blind Israel
The LORD presents His chosen, Spirit-filled Servant, who gently establishes justice for all peoples and is appointed to give sight to the blind and freedom to captives. Distant peoples are called to praise God, while Israel, His own servant, is shown to be blind and deaf under His discipline.
