Isaiah 22: Jerusalem's Revelry and the Key of David
Isaiah weeps over Jerusalem, which feasts instead of repenting and trusts its walls and water supply rather than the God who planned its trouble. Proud Shebna is removed, Eliakim receives his office and the key to David's house, an image later applied to Christ, and a firmly fixed peg finally gives way.
