2 Kings 24: Babylon Takes Jehoiachin Captive
After Jehoiakim rebels against Nebuchadnezzar, the LORD sends raiding bands against Judah because of Manasseh’s sins and bloodshed. Jehoiachin surrenders to Babylon, which strips the temple and deports the king, nobles and craftsmen, and Zedekiah is installed and later rebels.
