2 Kings 25: Jerusalem Falls and Judah Goes Into Exile

Babylon besieges Jerusalem until famine breaks it, captures the fleeing Zedekiah, burns the temple and city, and carries off the people and the temple bronze. Gedaliah governs the remnant until he is murdered and the survivors flee to Egypt, and in Babylon the captive Jehoiachin is released and honored.
