Ezekiel 12: Ezekiel Acts Out the Exile

God has Ezekiel pack his bags and dig through a wall as the people watch, a sign that Jerusalem’s ruler and people will be taken captive to Babylon. Ezekiel also eats in trembling to picture the city’s fear, and God rejects sayings that His warnings will never come true or are meant for a distant future.
