Jeremiah 46: The LORD’s Judgment on Egypt

Jeremiah describes Egypt’s mighty army, beaten by Nebuchadnezzar at Carchemish, fleeing in panic because the day of battle is the LORD’s. A second oracle foretells Babylon striking Egypt and its gods, promises Egypt will be lived in again, and assures Israel of rescue and fair discipline.
