Psalms 102: The Prayer of an Afflicted Sufferer

An afflicted, lonely sufferer pours out his distress to God, feeling his life fade under divine displeasure. He turns to the LORD's eternal reign, trusts God to restore Zion and free prisoners, praises the unchanging Creator, in words Hebrews applies to the Son, and ends sure that God's servants' children are secure.
