Psalms 22: From Forsakenness to Worldwide Praise

David cries out as one abandoned by God, mocked by onlookers, surrounded by enemies, and near death, and Jesus spoke its opening cry from the cross. The psalm then turns to thanksgiving because God has answered, and it foresees all nations and future generations worshiping the LORD.
