Psalms 23: The Shepherd Psalm

David describes the LORD as a shepherd who provides rest, renewal, and guidance, and who stays with him even through the darkest valley. The picture then shifts to a generous host who honors him before his enemies, and David is confident of God's lifelong kindness and an eternal home with Him.
