Isaiah 5: The Song of the Vineyard
Isaiah sings of a vineyard lovingly tended that yields only sour grapes, a picture of Israel and Judah failing to produce justice. Six woes follow against greed, drunken revelry, mockery of God, moral inversion, pride and bribery, and God summons a swift foreign army in judgment.
