2 Chronicles 6: Solomon’s Prayer of Dedication
Solomon blesses the people and praises God for keeping His promise to David. Kneeling before the assembly, he confesses that no house can contain God and asks Him to hear prayers toward the temple: to judge, forgive the repentant, answer foreigners and restore exiles. He closes by asking God to remember David.
