Psalms 132: David's Vow and God's Oath for Zion

This song of ascents recalls David's vow to secure a home for the LORD, the finding of the ark, and a prayer for God to enter His place of rest. It then sets out God's sworn promise to keep David's heirs on the throne and His choice of Zion as His home, with blessings for its priests, its poor, and David's line.
