1 Chronicles 28: David Charges Solomon to Build the Temple
David gathers Israel’s leaders and explains that God barred him, a warrior, from building the temple but chose Solomon for the task. He urges the people and Solomon to obey God wholeheartedly, hands Solomon the temple plans he received from the LORD, and tells him to be brave because God will be with him.
