Job 9: Job Longs for a Mediator
Job asks how any mortal could be in the right before God, whose wisdom and power rule mountains, sea and stars. He feels unable to argue his case, charges that God ruins innocent and guilty alike, and laments that no one stands between him and God to settle the dispute.
