Job 4: Eliphaz Answers Job
Eliphaz the Temanite begins the friends’ first round of speeches, reminding Job how he once encouraged others and arguing that the innocent are never destroyed. He then describes a terrifying night vision whose message is that no human can surpass God in righteousness or purity, since people are frail as dust.
