Jeremiah 19: The Broken Clay Jar
The LORD sends Jeremiah with a clay jar, elders, and priests to Ben-hinnom Valley to announce disaster on Jerusalem for idol worship and child sacrifice. Jeremiah smashes the jar as a sign that the city will be ruined beyond repair, then repeats the warning in the temple court.
