2 Chronicles 28: Ahaz Abandons the LORD

King Ahaz turns to Baal worship and even sacrifices his own sons, so God gives Judah into the hands of Aram and Israel. At the prophet Oded’s rebuke, Israel clothes, feeds and sends home its captives, while Ahaz seeks Assyrian help in vain, worships Aram’s gods and shuts the temple.
