Proverbs 15: Gentle Words and Reverence for the Lord

Proverbs 15 opens with the calming power of a soft reply and returns often to wise and harmful speech. It teaches that the LORD sees every heart, delights in the prayers of the upright, and defends the widow. It also prizes a little with reverence over riches and closes by teaching that honor follows humility.
