Nehemiah 2: Nehemiah Returns to Rebuild the Wall
King Artaxerxes notices Nehemiah’s sorrow, and after a quick prayer Nehemiah asks to go rebuild Jerusalem; by God’s kind hand the king grants letters and timber. Nehemiah inspects the ruins by night, rallies the leaders, and answers the scorn of Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem by declaring God will prosper the work.
