Jeremiah 35: The Faithful Rechabites
Jeremiah brings the Rechabite family into the temple and offers them wine, which they refuse out of loyalty to their ancestor Jonadab’s commands. The LORD contrasts their faithfulness with Judah’s refusal to obey Him, announces disaster on Judah, and promises the Rechabites a lasting line.
