Jeremiah 11: The Broken Covenant
God reminds Judah of the covenant made at the exodus and declares that the people have broken it by serving Baal and other gods, so disaster is coming and Jeremiah must not pray for them. Jeremiah learns that people from his own town of Anathoth are plotting to kill him, and God promises to punish them.
