Ezekiel 40: A Vision of the New Temple
Years into the exile, God carries Ezekiel in a vision to a lofty mountain in Israel, where a bronze-looking guide with measuring tools meets him. He tells Ezekiel to report all he sees to Israel, leads him through the gates and courts, names Zadok’s sons as the priests who may come near, and ends at the temple porch.
