2 Samuel 11: David, Bathsheba, and Uriah
While Joab besieges Rabbah, David stays in Jerusalem, takes Bathsheba, Uriah's wife, and she becomes pregnant. When the loyal Uriah refuses to go home, David has Joab arrange his death in battle. David then marries Bathsheba, but the LORD judges his deed as evil.
