2 Chronicles 2: Solomon Prepares to Build the Temple
Solomon plans a temple for the LORD’s worship and asks Hiram, Tyre’s king, for cedar and a skilled craftsman. He confesses that God is above all gods and that no building could hold Him. Hiram praises Israel’s God and sends Huram-abi, and Solomon sets the foreigners in Israel to work.
