Isaiah 50: The Obedient Servant Who Suffers
God says His people were sent into exile for their own sins, not through any weakness in Him. The Servant then tells of listening to God each morning, enduring beatings and mockery with firm resolve, and trusting God to clear Him; those in darkness are urged to rely on the LORD, and self-reliant people are warned.
